Manco Kapac Group

The "Manco Kapac" association has belonged to the Pro-Mujer family for more than three years. They meet every fourteen days in the Alto Lima center in the city of El Alto. The group has thirteen members and has shown itself to be organized with regard to loan installments. The majority of the group's members are married, with children. Their small businesses cover their basic living expenses but don't stretch far enough for them to save. Among the businesses that the group's members operate are buying and selling food, electronics, fruit and detergent. Other members make and sell crafts: home-made woven blankets; traditional cloth dolls; wool cloth; bags and packs made from leather and aguayo; traditional woven scarves; socks made from alpaca wool; and gold and silver jewelry. The Manco Kapac association needs a loan to buy basic materials so that they can increase their earnings and the well-being of their households.

La asociación denominada “Manco Kapac” pertenece a la familia de pro-mujer hace más de tres años. Cada catorce días se reúnen en el centro focal Alto Lima, de la ciudad de El Alto a la fecha el grupo cuenta con trece miembros y han demostrado ser un grupo organizado en cuanto a sus cuotas de crédito.
Dentro el grupo la mayoría son casadas y con hijos, cuentan que las ganancias de sus pequeños negocios solo cubren necesidades básicas y no les alcanza para ahorrar. Existen diferentes negocios dentro la asociación como ser; la Gastronomía, venta de artefactos electrónicos, la venta de fruta, venta de detergentes, además de estas otras de las socias son artesanas, realizan tejido a mano de mantas en telares, creación de muñecos tradicionales en aguayo y también tejidos en lana, confección de maletines y mochilas en cuero y aguayo, tejido de chalinas y medias en lana de alpaca y el diseño de joyas en oro y plata. La asociación Manco Kapac necesita de capital para comprar materia prima, con la seguridad de ampliar sus ganancias para obtener estabilidad económica en sus hogares.



About Group Loans
