The “Sacred Heart” group is represented by Lucia and is composed of responsible people who know each other given that they reside in the same neighborhood. They all commit themselves to make punctual payments and to fulfill their commitments to the rest of the members of the group. In general the members of the group dedicate themselves to commercial activities such as the sale of clothing, make-up, kitchen services, the sale of food, the sale of groceries in neighborhood stores, the sale of soft drinks, the sale of fruit, public transportation services, and technical services. Like in any industry there exists the competition of supply and demand; this exists especially in the commercial industry given that the prices of products fluctuate according to the same demand. It is for this reason that it is necessary to have the most up-to-date products. The requested loan will be used to purchase supplies and materials to improve products and work tools in order to provide more efficient services. A majority of the group members already have experience working in solidarity groups, as such, they know how to administer the granted funds and how to respond punctually to the commitment that they have with the Agrocapita foundation.
