Jenny is a member of "Bancomunal 24th of October". She is 40 years old, and lives with her partner and her three children, ages 17, 15, and 4.

Jenny studied industrial engineering, but could not finish her degree as she became pregnant and left school. Jenny then went to work in restaurant administration. She likes the food business, but quit after two years, with the vision of opening her own food business. Jenny started selling breakfast and lunch at her house, and little by little began buying food, a freezer, and plates to establish her restaurant "Buffet 'J and M' Ketherine", which she has been running in her home for the past seven years.

Jenny has taken various cooking classes and began to teach in the municipality, as she works in the area of workshop production. She started her business when she began working with Finca (the microfinance partner). Jenny is very grateful for all that she has been to do with the help of loans and the culture of saving money that she learned. Finca gave Jenny a method to work with, and she likes the Bancomunal meetings where she can interact with other people who have a business vision like her own.

Jenny needs a loan of 3,000 Peruvian Soles to purchase kitchen utensils, cups, plates, and cupboards, because renting these goods is very costly. Jenny's dream is to have her own home, and together with her children, continue with her restaurant.
