Sarwari baji is the wife of Ali gohar, who is a citizen of the city of Multan, Pakistan and works as a security guard on a monthly wage. Her husband has another business of making plastic shopping bags to sell at the markets. Sarwari baji is a 30 year old uneducated lady. She couldn’t get an education because her family couldn't cover her educational expenses. She knows the value of knowledge, because she believes that education nourishes a person from bottom to top. She is the mother of six children: four sons and two daughters. Her daughters are in kindergarten, but she wants to send her sons to school as well. For this reason, she makes embroidered dresses to order and earns an income. She successfully enrolled her elder son in a school with the income she made. Now she is applying for a loan to buy plastic beans for making shopping bags to increase her husband’s business.

She is a group leader of some more local women. Qureshan baji and Razia baji want loans to buy biscuits and chips wholesale to sell to shops. Hajran baji wants a loan to buy wood for making furniture that people use for sleeping. Anwari baji wants a loan to buy vegetables to resell.

This is a group loan. The loan funds will be distributed among the group members, each of whom will invest in her own business. The members mutually guarantee one another's loans. If one member does not repay, the other members are responsible.
