Shahnaz Mai baji is a 30-year-old married lady and has resided in a city called Multan, Pakistan for the past 20 years. She is the mother of four kids: three daughters and one son. All of her children are getting an education. Shahnaz baji’s husband's name is Munir Ahmad and he runs a grocery shop near their house. He has been doing this work for the past 14 years. Shahnaz baji is also involved in a clothes-selling business. She buys clothes from a city called Peshawar and sells them in the Multan markets. She is applying for a loan to buy more clothes to expand her clothes-selling business.

She is the group leader for some more women from her locality. Razia baji wants a loan to buy cloth to re-sell. Azran baji wants a loan to buy groceries for her grocery shop.

This is a group loan. The loan funds will be distributed among the group members, each of whom will invest in her own business. The members mutually guarantee one another's loans. If one member does not repay, the other members are responsible.
