Abbas

Abbas is a 41-year-old man who lives in Nabatieh, southern Lebanon, with his wife and their seven children. Abbas works as a house painter. He requests a loan of $1000 USD from Al Majmoua in order to purchase new painting tools and a car that will facilitate his work. This is the first time that Abbas has requested a loan.
Abbas is special in his work because he has experience and he does good work. His clients are his friends, neighbors and others. When he first started his business, he had difficulty building a network. He decided to start his business because he wanted to be independent in his work and also improve his family's situation. In the future, he plans to expand his business.
