Raheela baji is the mother of two kids: one son and one daughter. Her son runs a video game shop. Her daughter is in 5th standard. Raheela baji herself is involved in a clothes knitting business. She collects orders from her neighbors and prepares the knitted clothes and earns money. She uses her money to pay school fees for her daughter and bears her other expenses as well. She is applying for a loan to buy groceries to diversify her husband’s grocery shop into a store.

She is the group leader for some more women from her locality. Ghulam Fatima baji wants a loan to buy jewelry, e.g., bangles, earrings, and necklaces for her jewelry store. Sadan baji wants a loan to buy mason's tools. Ghazala baji wants a loan to buy bangles for her bangle-selling business. Suraiya baji wants a loan to buy material (beads, colored thread) for her decorative embroidery business.

This is a group loan. The loan funds will be distributed among the group members, each of whom will invest in her own business. The members mutually guarantee one another's loans. If one member does not repay, the other members are responsible.
