Shazia baji is a 25-year-old married lady. She owns a two-room brick house in a city named Vehari and has lived with her family for the past 3 years. Her husband's name is Ghulam Hussain, who has a quilt selling business. Shazia baji makes quilts and her husband goes to market to sell them. They both have been working in this business for the past 20 years. She is applying for a loan to buy material (thread and cloth) to expand her quilt-making and selling business.

She is a group leader of some more women of her locality. Rukhsana baji, Naseem baji and Ayesha baji each want a loan to buy material (thread and cloth) for their quilt-making and selling businesses.

This is a group loan. The loan funds will be distributed among the group members, each of whom will invest in her own business. The members mutually guarantee one another's loans. If one member does not repay, the other members are responsible.
