Elena

Elena is married, is 48 years old, and lives alone with her husband in their own house that they acquired recently. For two years, alongside her husband, she has worked in their small sawmill where they make all types of handles for instruments and tools such as picks, shovels, hammers, etc. Her work consists of looking for wood, principally eucalyptus, and on the weekends going to sell their work to the main tool stores. They also bring great quantities to the city of Lima every 15 days in order to obtain greater earnings. Elena is in charge of managing the shop and finding the customers who are owners of the shops. This is the second time that Elena is receiving a loan from MFP. For her, it is a great help to be part of her community bank because it allows her to socialize with the members of her group and also grow financially. The money that she is requesting is to purchase a wood cutting machine named a lathe and is valued at 1800 to 2000. Any money leftover will buy wood supplies.

Elena es casada, tiene 48 años, solo vive con su esposo en su propia casa que adquirieron recientemente. Desde hace 2 años, junto a su esposo trabaja en su pequeño aserradero, donde elaboran todo tipo de mangos para instrumentos y herramientas; como picos, palas, martillos, etc. Su trabajo consiste en buscar la madera, que principalmente es el eucalipto, y los fines de semana van a repartir su producción a las principales tiendas de herramientas. También llevan grandes cantidades a la ciudad de Lima cada 15 días, para obtener mayores ganancias. Elena se encarga de la administración del taller, y es quien consigue a los clientes, que son los dueños de las tiendas. Es la segunda vez que Elena tiene un préstamo con MFP, para ella es una gran ayuda formar parte de su banco comunal, porque le permite socializar con los integrantes de su grupo y también crecer económicamente. El dinero que solicita es para comprar una máquina cortadora de madera llamada torno y está valorizada en 1800 a 2000, de sobrar una cantidad comprará madera para abastecerse.
