Veronica Asmah

Veronica Asmah is a single mother with five dependents. She has completed up to senior high school. Veronica sells fish. She buys fish directly from the fishermen, processes and preserves them, and than sends them to the market at Liverpool Street in Elmina to sell. She has done this since 2005. Veronica uses her income to pay for her family's financial needs and the children's school fees. Veronica will use the loan to buy fish in larger quantities for processing and sale. With the increased profits from her expanded business, Veronica plans to reinvest in the business to increase her capital base.
