Pasikalia is a very good member; she repays her loan on time, always attends her weekly meetings, and is enthusiastic about expanding her business. She has used her previous loan to purchase fishing gears and tools for her business. She says that the Kiva loans and SPBD loans are not only helping her business grows, but also helping her pay her children’s school fees, feed her family better, and improve her housing. She earns a weekly profit of 250 Tala, but not all weeks she’ll be earning this, some weeks she would earn 150 Tala only. Pasikalia sells her fish beside the road for it is easily seen by people travelling on the road. She has fully paid back her loan, and hopes to get another one for improving her business.
