Diana Adomako

Diana Adomako, 34, is married and the mother of four children. Currently, all of her children are in school. For three years, Diana has been a food vendor in a community school within the village of Agogo, where she lives with her family.

She sells ‘ampesi’ and rice with stew; this food is mostly purchased by school children during their break time. Ampesi is cooked and enjoyed with any kind of stew. Diana says the demand for her food has grown, extending outside of the school to the people in the community. After she closes in the morning, she prepares more ampesi in the afternoon and sells it in the community market.

Diana wants to use the loan to buy more bags of raw materials like rice, meat, charcoal and among others. She is convinced that this loan will increase her stock; in the event of price hike, she will still be able to cook food. Diana wants to use the proceeds to supports her children's education. She says she is grateful for your assistance. It has always been her dream to add the sale of soft drinks to her existing business, so that she can make additional income to support her husband in taking care of the children.
