Erickson

Erickson is 22 years old, single, and lives with his parents and two siblings. He has been transporting passengers in his motorcar for 2 years. He owns one of the vehicles and he himself drives it. He drives the motorcar almost all day. It is exhausting work, not only for the physical effort and suffocating heat of the jungle, but also because he needs to remain alert for the safe transportation of his passengers from one area to another. This mode of transportation is very common in this region of Peru and so he needs to battle every day with his competition, but as he does not yet have many family expenses, he can save for his future. Erickson is a very responsible young man, and he is appreciated in his communal bank and is seeking his 5th loan with MFP. With the money he is seeking this time he will repair his motorcar as well as invest in his father’s wood business.

Erickson tiene 22 años, es soltero, vive con sus padres y sus dos hermanos. Hace 2 años se dedica al transporte de pasajeros en motocarro, él es dueño de uno de estos vehículos y también el chofer del mismo. Manejar la moto durante casi todo el día es una labor muy agotadora, no solo por el esfuerzo físico y el calor sofocante de la selva, sino que también debe mantenerse alerta para llevar con seguridad a sus pasajeros de una zona a otra. Este medio de transporte es muy común en esta región del Perú y por ello debe lidiar cada día con la competencia, pero como el aun no tiene muchos gastos familiares, puede ahorrar para el futuro. Erickson en un joven muy responsable, no por nada es apreciado en su banco comunal y viene teniendo el 5to préstamo con MFP. Con el dinero que esta vez requiere mandará a reparar su motocarro, así como también invertir en el negocio de madera de su padre.
