The Community Bank "Kausachun" which means "Que Viva" [To Live] in quechua, is a bank that is beginning its 41st cycle with 27 members. The members work in different businesses, such as selling cereals, groceries in general, food, fruit, making bricks, firewood, cheeses, and hardware stores. The members all have different stories. In Maria's case, she is married, is 44 years old and has 5 children. Marina has a store in her house where she sells groceries and hardware items. She also travels to the Ayacuchana jungle where she sells primarily the same products. Marina needs a loan of 1050 soles, which she will invest in buying nails of different sizes. On the other hand, Herlinda has a live-in partner, is 24 years old, and has 2 children. Herlinda lives in the community "Compañía" where she has a store and sells vegetables, groceries, and meats. Herlinda needs a loan of 1050 soles, which she will invest in buying rice, sugar, and noodles. While Herlinda has a live-in partner, is 36 years old, has 3 children, and has a grocery store in her home, she needs a loan of 900 soles, which she will invest in buying sodas and rice.

The members all need loans of different amounts. Some loans are for 300 soles, 450 soles, 750 soles or 1050 soles, totaling to 14,250 soles of loans for the community bank. The loans will be used to purchase sugar, rice, noodles, meat, vegetables, wheat, barley, firewood, milk, nails, and medicine. The dreams of the members are that their children will get a good education, expand their businesses, save a lot of money, and have their own home.
