Las Triunfadoras De Marko Jara Group

The women of this communal bank all work in and around Pucallpa, operating small businesses from corner stores out of their homes to stalls in local markets. The majority of the women in the "Las Triunfadoras de Marko Jara" bank sell some sort of product for a living. The Triunfadoras are requesting loans of individual amounts, but they collectively guarantee the repayment of the entire bulk loan. The bank members will be using the loan to fund a variety of endeavors including: sales of vegetables, shoes, candy, bananas, furniture, and bottled drinks. Each woman will repay her portion of the bulk loan within the same four-month term.
