Ruth

Ruth is 47 years old and lives alone because she is single. For 30 years she has sold pictures in the Tupac Amaru market - one of the most visited markets in Juliaca city - which brings in good income. Ruth likes her work because it is calm and without complication, and she can set her own hours. She usually starts at 8 in the morning and goes until 6 or 7 at night since those are the busiest hours. The difficult part of her job is dealing with the cold temperatures in her spot since the sun does not hit it. She has to put up with it and she overcomes the difficulty knowing that jobs always have some inconveniences. This is her eighth loan through Microfinanzas Prisma and she is very punctual with her payments. With the money she is requesting, she will purchase more pictures in Tacna or Lima to sell at her place and bring in better income.

Ruth tiene 47 años, vive sola, ya que es soltera. Desde hace 30 años se dedica a la venta de cuadros en el mercado Tupac Amaru, uno de los más concurridos de la ciudad de Juliaca, arrojándole buenos ingresos económicos. A Ruth le gusta su trabajo, ya que trabaja tranquila, sin complicaciones y ella misma dispone de su tiempo, empezando usualmente a las 8 de la mañana hasta las 6 o 7 de la noche siendo estas horas las de más concurrencia. Lo difícil de su labor es el frío que hace en su puesto, ya que el sol no cae por ahí, teniendo que soportarlo, pero Ruth lo supera, sabiendo que siempre existen algunos inconvenientes en el trabajo. Ella se encuentra en su octavo préstamo con Microfinanzas Prisma, siendo muy puntual en los pagos. Con el dinero solicitado comprará mayor cantidad de cuadros en la ciudades de Tacna o Lima para venderlos en su puesto y así lograr mejores ingresos.
