Sajida Parveen M. Arshad Group

Sajida baji is involved in a milk-selling business with an experience of 9 years. She has got good recognition for her hard work. Sajida baji does this work to improve her family’s living standard. She means to continue to do this work until she is satisfied with the living standard of her family, e.g. when she is able to send her children to school and renovate her house. She successfully repaid her first loan from Asasah (a micro-finance institution in Pakistan). Now she is requesting a loan to buy another buffalo to expand her milk-selling business.

Sajida baji is the group leader for some more women. Zubaida baji wants a loan to buy a buffalo for her milk-selling business. Hanifan baji wants a loan to buy wood to re-sell. Mukhtayaran baji wants a loan to buy ingredients (tea and sugar) for her tea stall. Rehana Kosar baji wants a loan to buy an ox to till the land.

This is a group loan. The loan funds will be distributed among the group members, each of whom will invest in her own business. The members mutually guarantee one another's loans. If one member does not repay, the other members are responsible.
