Magadlaine Bashir Masih Gull Group

Magadlaine baji is 32 years old and married. She has been living in the city of Arifwala, Pakistan for the past 15 years. Her husband's name is Bashir Masih gull; he works in a cotton factory. She is the mother of five children: four sons and one daughter. Her eldest son is in the decorative embroidery business. He collects orders from big markets and signs a commitment to complete the order in 15 days. His mother Magadlaine baji helps him complete the commitment. Her other kids are in kindergarten.

Magadlaine baji successfully repaid her previous two loans from Asasah (a microfinance institute of Pakistan). Now she is applying for a loan to buy materials (beads, colored thread, and sketches) to expand her son’s decorative embroidery business.

Magadlaine baji is the leader of a group of several women. Hamidan baji wants a loan to buy seasonal vegetables for her vegetable selling business. Rasheedan baji wants a loan to buy goats for her animal selling business. Nazia baji wants a loan to buy seasonal fruits for her fruit selling business.

This is a group loan. The loan funds will be distributed among the group members, each of whom will invest in her own business. The members mutually guarantee one another's loans. If one member does not repay, the other members are responsible.
