Zafar Rahimov

Zafar Rahimov is 37 years old. He is married with three children. Zafar is a very diligent and hard-working man. He provides taxi services with his car. Zafar’s usual center of business is Isfara-Khujand. For the last two years, his taxi business has been the main source of income for his family. This has allowed him to help improve the living conditions of his large family.

Currently, his daily profit is about 80-100 Somoni. In addition to his wife and children, he also supports his parents. Like any business, his business requires additional capital from time to time. His car has fallen into disrepair and he needs to fix it. For this reason, Zafar is requesting 2500 Somoni ($750 USD) for the term of 9 months. Zafar promises to repay the loan promptly and thanks all who support him.

While the people of Tajikistan are working to improve its agricultural production and manufacturing sector, nearly two-thirds of the population still live in abject poverty.
