Bartolina Sisa Group

The "Bartolina Sisa" association comprises 15 members; it is located in the Santiago II neighbourhood of the city of El Alto.

The group members engage in a variety of activities, including the sale of sweets, and the sale of flowers, but they principally cook and sell food. They prepare varied lunches which they sell every day; this provides a small revenue to cover the day-to-day expenses of their homes and businesses.

Now they need more capital to expand production. They plan to buy larger quantities of raw materials with a view to increasing revenues and improving their living standards.

Quince miembros forman parte de la asociación “Bartolina sisa” , esta pertenece al centro focal Santiago II, ubicado en la ciudad de El Alto.
Existen diferentes actividades dentro el grupo por ejemplo la venta de dulces, venta de flores, pero la actividad principal es la elaboración y venta de comida. Preparan almuerzo variados y los venden todos los días, pero con la venta de estos alimentos solo consiguen ingresos mínimos para cubrir gastos diarios tanto de sus casas como de sus negocios, necesitan mayor capital para ampliar su producción, por lo que necesitan comprar insumos en mayor cantidad, de esta manera conseguir mayores ingresos para mejorar su calidad de vida.
