Mumtaz M.shahbaz Group

Mumtaz Baji resides in a city of shrines named Pakpattan, Pakistan. She owns a two-room brick house in this city and has been living in it for the past 30 years. Her husband's name is M.Shahbaz, and he runs a tea stall. He has 4 years of experience in this business. He is a very devoted and hardworking person.

Mumtaz Baji has been involved in a clothes selling business for the past 4 years. She buys clothes from a famous city named Multan and resells in her own city to earn a profit.

She is the mother of two daughters. Her elder daughter reads in the 7th standard, and her younger daughter reads in kindergarten. Mumtaz Baji and her husband work really hard for their daughter’s good future. She is applying for a loan to buy more clothes to expand her clothes selling business.

She is a group leader of a few more women in her community. Musarat Shaheen Baji and Zahida Parveen Baji each want a loan to buy an auto-rickshaw (a local three-wheeled motor vehicle). Sharifan Baji wants a loan to buy materials (lentils, cooking oil and spices) for her food business. Shahana Basher Baji wants a loan to buy clothes for her clothes selling business. Parveen Akhtar Baji wants a loan to buy wood to resell.

This is a group loan. The loan funds will be distributed among the group members, each of whom will invest in her own business. The members mutually guarantee one another's loans. If one member does not repay, the other members are responsible.
