Rumana Gariba

Rumana Gariba is a married with two children, both of whom are in school. She lives with the husband and her kids in Accra. She works very hard, because part of the responsibility for her kids rests on her shoulders, as a mother who wants to see her kids to the university level. She is now 23 years old.

Rumana sells home products, like cooking utensils, plastic bowls, buckets and plates. She makes her sales by ‘hawking’, which is door-to-door sales. Rumana is an achiever and her focus is to save enough to support her kids in school.

She wants to use the loan to buy more plastic materials and kitchen sets to serve her customers. She would be very grateful for support.

Rumana belongs to the Boldness Trust community group. The group members guarantee a loan through repayment pledges and support one another to repay the loan. She does not sell on group meeting days and her picture was taken during her group meeting.
