journal update Entrepreneur: Nguon Neang Location: Phnom Penh City, Cambodia Nguon Neang moved to Phnom Penh only 5 years ago. Besides her two children in school, her mother and two younger siblings are also dependents in her household. During times of financial need before she had borrowed from money lenders at 10 % interest rates but heard about CREDIT through a neighbor with rates significantly lower. She reports her income has risen by 30 % since her CREDIT loan which she used to buy a greater quantity of vegetables. She has faced no business difficulties since then and has been able to repay her loan regularly on time. She is also considering another loan to buy even more vegetables and expand her inventory.
