Mujeres Creciendo Group

The association named “Mujeres Creciendo” (“Growing Women”) has been a part of the Pro-Mujer family for more than ten years. This association belongs to the focal center of Juan Pablo II, located in the Ferropetrol zone of the city of El Alto. To date, they have fourteen members that have demonstrated themselves as an organized group with regard to their payments and internal activities.

Various types of businesses exist within the group but we can say that, for the most part, they are made up of merchants. Melody, for example, dedicates herself to selling shoes which she markets on trips to the city of Santa Cruz. Her mother works preparing and selling food. Others make crafts, handwoven textiles and borders that they later sell on Sagarnaga Street in the city of La Paz.

The association requires a loan for raw materials and other supplies. In particular, these would be for the nearing holiday season -- a time when their businesses will see growing sales and their incomes will increase.

La asociación denominada “Mujeres Creciendo” forma parte de la familia de Pro-Mujer hace mas de diez años. La mencionada asociación pertenece al centro focal Juan Pablo II, ubicada en la zona Ferropetrol de la ciudad de El Alto, a la fecha cuenta con catorce miembros que han demostrado ser un grupo organizado en cuanto a sus cuotas de crédito y actividades internas.
Existen diferentes negocios dentro la asociación podemos decir que son comerciantes en su mayoría, por ejemplo Melody se dedica a la venta de zapatos, que los comercializa realizando viajes a la ciudad de Santa Cruz, su mamá se dedica a la elaboración y venta de comida, otras son artesanas, realizan tejidos y bordados que luego los venden en la calle Sagarnaga de la ciudad de La Paz,
La asociación Mujeres Creciendo precisa de créditos para materia prima y/o insumos en diferentes casos, principalmente por las prontas fiestas navideñas que ya llegan, es seguro que sus ventas aumentaran y también sus ganancias.
