Naseem baji is a 51 year old woman that resides in Lahore, Pakistan. She has been living in this city for the past 30 years. Her husband, M. Latif, runs a grocery shop in the community. She is the mother of seven children: four sons and three daughters. Naseem baji buys quilts from a famous city named Multan and resells them to different shops in Lahore. She has 20 years of experience in this business and works to meet the financial expenses of her household. She has successfully repaid her two loans from Asasah (a microfinance institute of Pakistan). She is now applying for a loan to buy more quilts in order to expand the business.

She is a group leader of a few more women in her locality. Mahmooda baji is requesting a loan to buy chips for resale. Khalida parveen baji is requesting a loan to buy materials (clothes, colored thread and sketches) to embroider clothing for display in her boutique. Razia baji is requesting a loan to buy scissors and tools for her barber salon. Munawar baji is requesting a loan to buy cosmetics for her parlor.

This is a group loan. The loan funds will be distributed among the group members, each of whom will invest in her own business. The members mutually guarantee each others loans. If one member does not repay, the other members are responsible for the repayment of the entire loan.
