Rukhsana Asif Gull Group

Rukhsana baji is a 45 year-old-lady and resides in a place named Ismail Nagar, which is situated in a city named Lahore, Pakistan. She works as a teacher in a local school after completing her education till 10th standard. She owes a two-room brick house and has been living in it for the past 25 years. She is the mother of three children: one son and two daughters. Her son works in a private office. Her elder daughter works in a private hospital and her younger daughter is in 7th standard. Her husband's name is Asif Gull, and he has a business repairing computers. Rukhsana baji successfully repaid her first loan from Asasah (a microfinance institute of Pakistan). Now she is applying for a loan to buy tools for her husband.

She is joined in her loan group by a few more members. Sumera baji wants a loan to buy cosmetics for her parlor. Shazia sadiq baji wants a loan to buy material (cloth, sketches and colored thread) for her boutique. Nargis baji wants a loan to buy a lath machine. Reeta baji wants a loan to buy a sewing machine to sew clothes.

This is a group loan. The loan funds will be distributed among the group members, each of whom will invest in her own business. The members mutually guarantee one another's loans. If one member does not repay, the other members are responsible.
