Yaroslav Mikhno

Yaroslav is married with a 2-year-old daughter and lives in Belaya Tserkov, a busy town in the Kiev region. Yaroslav runs a kiosk selling varnish, coloring agents and dishware in the central market of Belaya Tserkov. He inherited this business from his father, generating his equity capital while working in Germany before returning to continue their family business. He has been running it for 6 years. Currently, he has about 10,000 Grivnas invested in inventory with income of about 6,400 Grivnas a month.

Yaroslav would like to get a 5,000 Grivna loan to purchase assorted merchandise wholesale as retail prices might go up very soon. This would allow him to keep his selling prices competitive and bring him additional profit. Yaroslav is seeking to achieve financial stability for his family. He is the only breadwinner in the family and has to provide for his family and retired father who lives with them. We believe Yaroslav’s willingness to see his business become more diversified and sustainable will ensure success of his trade and prompt repayment of the current loan.
