Harriet Nakimwero is a leader of Kamu kamu women’s group C in Kayunga. Harriet, 32, is married and has three children (ages 12, 7, and 4) who are all in school. She also cares for her sister by paying her school fees. Harriet has been in this lending group for one year and has various businesses. She has a retail shop that she has had for eight years, a salon that she has operated for a year. and, together with her husband, she has a bar. Harriet and her husband work together to see that all the businesses succeed. They have two dreams: that their children have the best possible education and that they own more land for farming. They are farmers now, though not on a very large scale. Harriet needs a loan to restock her shop, bar, and salon with goods.

She is a married lady that works so hard with her husband to ensure that all her children get the best out of the parents’ sweat. Together with her husband, Harriet has a bar, a farm and a retail shop and she is happy that the loans help all her businesses. Very soon, she will ask for another loan for business expansion.
