Rosita Pastrano has been an active member of Paglaum-MPC for almost four years and is one of the pioneering members of Paglaum Development Program for Landless People. She has been living with her common-law husband Mr. David Quicoy for almost 10 years with her five children. She has a salted anchovies business - commonly known as "GINAMOS" - which has provided them with their daily needs. They also have a garden near their house which provides a good harvest and helps support the family with their daily expenses. Mrs. Pastarano hopes to purchase a decent house one day and fulfill her dreams of sending her children to school in the future.
She has a successfully paid back nine loans from PMPC and regularly contributes to her savings while building capital with PMPC. She's now planning to apply for her 10th loan in the amount of PHP 20,000 to purchase more "Ginamos" and fertilizer for her garden.
