Rukhsana M.asif Group

Rukhsana baji is a very hardworking lady. She helped her husband in the building of their new house. She earned money by sewing clothes day and night. Rukhsana baji’s husband is a driver. He drives an auto-rickshaw (a local three-wheeled motor vehicle) and has been doing so for 5 years. Rukhsana baji is a mother of two sons. Her elder son is 6 years old and her younger son is 4 years old.

She is applying for a loan to repair her husband’s auto-rickshaw. The auto-rickshaw is creating many problems for the family and so must be repaired.

She is joined in her loan group by a few more members. Zakia baji wants a loan to buy edible items such as chips and biscuits wholesale to resell retail. Bashiran baji wants a loan to buy sugarcane to make into and sell as syrup. Sajida baji wants a loan to buy tools for her motor workshop.

This is a group loan. The loan funds will be distributed among the group members, each of whom will invest in her own business. The members mutually guarantee one another's loans. If one member does not repay, the other members are responsible.
