Shazia Kosar Shoqat Ali Group

Shazia kosar baji resides in a city named Arifwala, Pakistan. She is26 years old. Her husband name is Shoqat Ali and he has a scrap business. Shazia baji has three children: two boys and one girl. All of her children are enrolled in a local school in her neighborhood. Shazia baji has been sewing clothes for the past 2 years. People in her community come to her to have their clothes sewn. She saves her earnings for her children’s school fees. Shazia baji has a two-room, brick house where she lives with her children and her brother who is a butcher. Shazia baji successfully repaid her first loan from Asasah (a microfinance institute of Pakistan). Now she is applying for a loan to buy to buy animals (goats) for her brother's meat-selling business.

She is joined in her loan group by three more members. Naseem baji requests a loan to buy tools for her workshop. Syedan baji requests a loan to buy beams for her shuttering business. Farzana baji requests a loan to buy an auto-rickshaw (a local three-wheeled motor vehicle).

This is a group loan. The loan funds will be distributed among the group members, each of whom will invest in her own business. The members mutually guarantee one another's loans. If one member does not repay, the other members are responsible.
