Irma

Irma is a member of the Lirio (“Iris”) Village Bank.
Irma is 56 years old and married with three children. She has a store in her home, located in the Jesús Nazareno District of Ayacucho where she sells dry goods. She runs the store in her free time and with the help of her daughter. She works full-time as a technician in the maternity ward of a local hospital. Irma plans to launch a new business selling juice and soda. She needs a loan of 700 soles to remodel the space in which she plans to open her new store. Irma dreams of expanding her business and for her children to get ahead in life, to finish school, and to become working professionals.
