The "PARAÍSO" ("Paradise") Group is represented by Ms Mercedes. She is married and has four minor children. The other women in the group are also mothers with children under the age of five. For the most part, the members of the group sell clothes, vegetables, and a variety of meats. The men in the group work in public transportation. Generally, all the members have experience in their different businesses. They know that the growth of their businesses will require them to improve and increase the products they sell. For this reason they have decided to request a loan from Agrocapital. This will be the first group loan for some of the members, but they are responsible people who want to work in order to move ahead.
