Adilia is 28 years old and lives with her partner, a mechanic, and her two children who are in school and are her motivation to forge ahead. She dedicates herself to selling food at night (salchipapas: french fries with sausage), work which she has been doing for four years now. What she likes about her job is making good food so that her customers enjoy her cooking, and also spending time chatting with them while they eat. This business is very profitable, since the food is easy to prepare and – most of all -- very practical. She is doing well in this endeavor as it doesn’t present any difficulties for her. This is the first loan she requests with MFP. With the funds, she will order a ramada (a roof made out of branches that covers a specified outdoor space) built so she can conduct her sales peacefully since she currently transacts her business from within her home.
