Jocabet is 30 and lives with her husband and her two children. Her wood house was built just recently. She works in her fields from 8 in the morning until 5 in the evening every day. She has carried out this work since she was very young with her parents who were also farmers. Jocabet has sown one hecare with cacao and three fields with citrus fruit. She is very content with her work, saying that her farm depends on her care. Jocabet tiene 30 años, vive con su esposo y sus dos hijos, hace poco tiempo han construido su casa de madera. Ella trabaja en sus campos de cultivo desde las 8 de la mañana hasta las 5 de la tarde todos los días. Esta actividad la desarrolla desde muy joven, con sus padres que también eran agricultores. Jocabet ha sembrado una hectárea de cacao y tres cuadras de frutos cítricos, está muy contenta con su trabajo, dice que la chacra depende de cómo se le atiende, hay que estar muy al pendiente, para ello se tiene que tener conocimientos de qué tipo de pesticidas se debe utilizar para cada enfermedad y tener en cuenta también las temporadas.
