Laura belongs to the "Vecinas Unidas" Communal Bank, located at Jr. Ucayali # 875, Calleria district, Coronel Portillo province, Ucayali department. She is 44 years old, married and the mother of 3 minor children who still depende on her. Her husband works as a Secondary Education professor. With the first loan that she received from Manuela Ramos (300 soles-Peruvian currency), Laura decided to invest it on selling clothes. She has been working with the Communal Bank for one year.

Currently, Laura is a Primary Education professor. Her business sells beauty products (EBEL) and she also makes hand towels. In the mornings, she works as a teacher and in the afternoons, she delivers her products and on her free time Laura works in making the hand towels.

With this 1000 soles (Peruvian currency) loan, which will be paid back in 4 months, she will buy 15 meters of terry cloth fabric, flaxen fabric, ribbons, threads, and beauty products. Thanks to the help from the Communal Bank and her effort, Lauras's business has improved and as a result she will have the opportunity to continue supporting her children.

La señora Laura pertenece al Banco Comunal “Vecinas Unidas”, ubicado en el Jr. Ucayali Nº 875, distrito de Callería, provincia de Coronel Portillo, departamento de Ucayali. Tiene 44 años de edad, es madre de 3 hijos menores de edad que aún depende de ella, es casada y su esposo trabaja como profesor de Educación Secundaria. Con el primer préstamo que recibió de Manuela Ramos de S/. 300 decide invertir en la venta de ropa. Tiene un año trabajando con el Banco Comunal.

En la actualidad Laura es profesora de Educación Primaria. Su negocio es vender productos de belleza (EBEL) y confeccionar toallitas de mano “Lencería”. En las mañanas labora como docente, por las tardes reparte sus productos y en sus tiempos libres trabaja en su lencería.

Con este préstamo de S/. 1,000, el cual será pagado en 4 meses, comprará 15 metros de telas felpa, blondas, cintas, hilos y productos de bellezas.

Gracias a la ayuda del Banco Comunal y a su esfuerzo su negocio ha mejorado y por ende tendrá la oportunidad de seguir apoyando a sus hijos.
