Shahnaz Akhtar M. Rafiq's Group

Shahnaz Akhtar baji is the wife of M. Rafiq and lives in an area named Walton in the city of Lahore, Pakistan. She owns a two-room house, where she has lived for the last 22 years. She is the mother of five children: three sons and two daughters. Her eldest son has a decorative embroidery business. Her other sons are in kindergarten. Her elder daughter sews clothes for neighbors at home. Her younger daughter is in the fourth standard.

Shahnaz baji’s husband works for the government. Shahnaz baji is a housewife and prefers to do household work and take care of her family. She successfully repaid her first loan from Asasah. Now she requests a loan to buy colored thread, beads, and sketches of designs for her son’s embroidery business.
