Muni M.hussain's Group

Muni baji is the wife of M.Hussain and lives in a historical place named Yadgar of the city Lahore, Pakistan. She owns a two room brick house and has been living in it for the last 40 years. She is the mother of eight children: six sons and two daughters. Her eldest son works in a railway station. The next to him has a mobile shop. The others are also set in their own works. Muni baji’s daughters help her in household work. Muni baji’s husband has a pigeon selling business. He sells these at a famous market named “Tolinton Market”.

Muni baji is a housewife and prefers to do household work and take care of her family. She is applying for a loan to buy more mobile phones to expand her son’s mobile phone business, so that he will be able to sell more mobile phones and earn profit.

She is joined in her loan group by a few more members. Tasneem baji wants a loan to buy mobile phones to resell. Razia baji wants a loan to buy electrical supplies (switch boards, switches and tube lights) for her shop. Talat baji wants a loan to buy cosmetics for her parlor. Nusrat baji wants a loan to buy groceries for her grocery shop.

This is a group loan. The loan funds will be distributed among the group members, each of whom will invest in her own business. The members mutually guarantee one another's loans. If one member does not repay, the other members are responsible.
