Hi,

I am a Kiva Fellow at AMK Cambodia. Last week we had the pleasure of visiting Mrs Inh Sophy in the Takeo province of Cambodia. The journey took us down many long and dusty roads through small villages and past countless waving villagers and school children in their uniforms.

Inh Sophy used her loan of 2m Cambodian Real ($490) to buy fertilizer, pesticide, and to hire a labourer with two oxen to plough the rice field. She said her rice is growing well and will be harvested in two months. She's also planning on asking for a loan to buy fruits and dry fish to sell in a local village. This is clearly a client who thinks big!
