Susana Alvina is 36 years old, is a member of the Mujeres al Progreso community bank and lives at block 23, lot 5ª in the Victor Raúl II sector, El Porvenir district, Trujillo province, La Libertad department in Peru.
She finished primary school and didn't continue studying because she had to help out in her household, since at that time her mother was in bad health. She married at the age of 20 to Julio Padilla Pereda with whom she has a daughter that is a student and dependent upon her.
She started buying scrap metal and selling it; she continues doing this as well as recycling all forms of waste products.
With her first loan of 300 Soles, which was repaid in 4 months, she purchased old pieces of machinery and dissembled them to sell as parts. With this loan of 400 Soles, which will be repaid in 4 months, she will buy animals to barter with in the mountains in exchange for recycling items.
Susana dreams of having a large hardware store in which she can provide jobs.
La señora Susana Alvina tiene 36 años de edad, es la fiscal del Banco Comunal Mujeres al Progreso y vive en Mz 23 lote 5ª en sector Víctor Raúl II etapa Barrio II A, distrito El Porvenir, provincia de Trujillo, departamento de La Libertad, Perú.
Estudió primaria completa y ya no continuó estudiando porque tuvo que ayudar en su hogar, ya que su madre en esa época estaba muy delicada de salud. Se casó a la edad de 20 años con el señor Julio Padilla Pereda con quien tiene una hija que es estudiante y depende de ella.
Empezó comprando chatarra y vendiéndola, ahora compra chatarra y la vende inmediatamente y recicla toda clase de desechos.
Con el primer préstamo de 300 soles cancelado en 4 cuotas, compró piezas viejas en los mecánicos y las desarmó para venderlas.
Con este crédito de 400 soles, el cual será cancelado en 4 cuotas, comprará animales para usarlos haciendo trueque en la sierra, donde cambiará con piezas de reciclaje.
Susana sueña con tener una ferretería grande donde pueda brindar empleo.
