Mrs. Maria Isabel is 51 years old; she belongs to the community bank Mujeres al Progreso and lives in the district of Porvenir, province of Trujillo, department of Libertad in Peru.
She didn’t finished school, because she started working due to her few economic resources.
She had her first daughter when she was 14 years old and her husband died, she re-married with Isidro Vaca and they had 2 daughters. Their 3 daughters are all independent now.
Currently Maria Isabel sells food, and she is also starting to buy and sell scrap iron.
With her first loan of 300 soles, paid back in 4 quotes, she started her business selling food.
With the current loan of 2,000 soles that will be paid in 4 quotes, she will buy scrap iron because for that she needs more financial resources.
Maria Isabel dreams to have a nice restaurant on a popular location.

La señora María Isabel tiene 51 años de edad, pertenece al Banco Comunal Mujeres al Progreso y vive en la Mz 22 lote 5 del sector Víctor Raúl II etapa Barrio 2 A, distrito del Porvenir, provincia de Trujillo, departamento de La Libertad, Perú.
Estudió hasta el tercer año de primaria, no continuó estudiando porque empezó a trabajar debido a los escasos recursos económicos.
Tuvo su primer hija a los catorce años y su pareja falleció, se volvió a casar a los 15 años con Isidro Vaca con quien tiene 2 hijas, en total tiene tres hijas, pero ninguna dependen de ella porque cada una tiene su compromiso.
Actualmente María Isabel vende comida, pero también está incursionando en la compra y venta de chatarra.
Con el primer préstamo de 300 soles, el cual se devolvió en 4 cuotas, implementó su negocio con la venta de comida.
Con este crédito de 2,000 soles, el cual será cancelado en 4 cuotas, comprará chatarra porque de ello se adquiere mayores ingresos.
María Isabel sueña con poner un bonito restaurant más céntrico.
