Victoria de la Cruz, Benigna Domitila Camayo Cerron, and Felicitas LLallahui de la Cruz are members of the community bank San Antonio de Padua, in a small town called Mauallasacc in Ayacucho. The residents of the area are dedicated to agriculture, cheese production, and raising cattle.

Victoria is a single mother with a 20-year-old son who is currently studying at the University of Alas Peruanos. She helps run a restaurant that offers all types of Peruvian dishes. Her dream is to have her own restaurant and open a small store in the area. She is saving because the interest she earns continues to grow, and she plans to use the money to open her own store in the future.

Benigna lives with her partner and their 4 children, who are all in school. She has a small snack bar in the area. She hopes to open her own small restaurant in December 2008. She is currently saving to purchase more materials to stock her future restaurant and for her knitting business.

Felicitas is married with four children, aged 26, 22, 16, and 12. Felicitas has been selling candies since she was young, and she has now begun selling children's clothing. Her dream is to have her children become professionals. She is very proud that her two eldest are studying at the university in Ayacucho--they are on their way. She is currently saving to ensure they remain in school and to supply her future needs.

Felicitas will invest this loan by purchasing more clothing to sell. Benigna plans to purchase groceries to stock her snack bar, along with yarn because she also spends time knitting. Victoria will invest in her business by purchasing drinks and groceries to keep her restaurant stocked with food.
