Shahnaz Abdul Majeed

Shahnaz baji is married to Abdul Majeed and lives in a historical place named Yadgar in the city of Lahore, Pakistan. She owns a two-room brick house and has been living in it for the last 15 years. She completed her education in the 10th standard [grade]. She is the mother of three children: two sons and one daughter. Her daughter reads at the 9th standard level. Her elder son is in 7th standard. Her younger son is in 2nd standard.

Shahnaz baji's husband runs a small hotel in his community. He is a well-known person, and everybody comes to buy food from his hotel. He has been in this profession for the last 25 years. Shahnaz baji is a housewife and helps her husband with his food business. She successfully repaid her previous three loans from Asasah (a microfinance institute of Pakistan and a Kiva Field Partner). Now she is applying for a loan to buy ingredients (cooking oil, lentils, vegetables, rice, and spices).
