Razia baji is a wife of M.Siddique and lives in a small town named Bund Road in the city Lahore, Pakistan. She owns a two room brick house and has been living in it for the last 35 years. She is the mother of four children: two sons and two daughters. All of her children are enrolled in a local school in her neighborhood. Razia baji's husband is a mason by profession. He has been a mason for 2 years. Razaia baji herself has a garments business. She has been involved in this business for the last 15 years. She is applying for a loan to buy more garments to expand her business.


She is joined in her loan group by a few more members. Azra baji wants a loan to buy material such as lentils, cooking oil and spices for her food business. Saima baji wants a loan to buy fresh flowers to make flower bouquets to resell. Bilquis baji wants a loan to buy more shoes for her shoe selling business.


This is a group loan. The loan funds will be distributed among the group members, each of whom will invest in her own business. The members mutually guarantee one another's loans. If one member does not repay, the other members are responsible.
