Mrs. Yim Kimhong is a food seller in the village of Sala Lek Pram in Kampong Chhnang Province. Her husband, Mr. Vann Heng, is a village chef who makes a small income to support the family. Although Mrs. Kimhong and her husband have different businesses, they still cannot improve their living conditions. To improve their standard of living, Mrs. Kimhong decided to ask for a loan to buy piglets to start a new pig-breeding business. Mrs. Kimhong is 52 years old and the mother of four children, one of whom is employed in a garment factory while another one helps the mother in business. The third one is attending the local school, while the youngest one is too young to work or study.
