Blanca Lili Osorio Urgell

Blanca began her business to help her husband, as from time to time she has difficult moments because her 3 children study and the oldest will soon begin studying at the university and she wants to support him. She began her business in November 2006 selling household products through a friend’s invitation to a demonstration. But in May 2007 another friend invited her to sell used clothing as there are greater profits in this work. With her previous KIVA loan she was able to invest in merchandise which helped her increase her sales and at the same time her earning. Thanks to that loan she was able to be successful and provide an education to her children.

She needs a loan of US $475, which will be repaid in 5 months, in order to buy seasonal used clothing now that fall is approaching and people are starting to buy clothing for the cold season, which will permit her to have a better stock for her customers.

Blanca inició el negocio para ayudar a su esposo, ya que en ocasiones tiene épocas muy difíciles porque sus 3 hijos estudian y el más grande dentro de poco va a comenzar una carrera universitaria y quiere apoyarlo. Comenzó en Noviembre de 2006 a vender productos para el hogar por invitación de una amiga a una demostración, pero en Mayo de 2007 por invitación de otra amiga comenzó con la venta de ropa usada ya que en esta actividad obtiene mejores ganancias. En su crédito anterior con KIVA pudo invertir en mercancía lo cual le ayudo a mejorar sus ventas y al mismo tiempo sus ganancias y gracias a ello ha podido salir adelante con los estudios de sus hijos.

Ella necesita un préstamo por US $475 que pagara en 5 meses para poder comprar ropa usada de temporada ahora que se acerca el otoño y la gente empieza a comprar ropa para la temporada de frío lo cual le permitirá tener mejor surtido para mis clientes.
