Las Unidas Group

This group was formed on August 4, 2008 resulting from the promotional works of the local partner adviser. The group was organized by Delia Gonzalez de Gonzalez who has made a living by selling groceries. She contacted the adviser, communicating that she had organized the group of 15 women who now work for the program called “Committee of Women Entrepreneurs”.

The group named themselves “Las Unidas” as these women were already friends and neighbors. The committee members of “Las Unidas” are pursuing a variety of activities, such as the following detailed below:

1-Esmilce González. Sale of cleaning products.
2-Delia de González. Sale of groceries.
3-Norma González. Sale of groceries.
4-Clara García. Sale of clothing.
5-Estelvina González. Sale of drinking teas and herbs.
6-Rocío González. Sale of drinking teas and herbs.
7-Mirian Samudio. Sale of meat
8-Graciela Aquino. Sale of cosmetics
9-Delia G. González. Sale of groceries
10-Mirian González. Sale of drinking teas and herbs.
11-Flora Ayala. Sale of fruits and vegetables.
12-Brígida Sánchez. Sale of drinking teas and herbs.
13-Basilisa Franco. Sale of groceries.
14-Soledad Cardozo. Seamstress
15-Marta Silva. Sale of sandwiches.

All of the women pursue these activities to bring about the common wellbeing of the group. This group works as a team, demonstrating camaraderie and solidarity.

Este grupo se conformó en fecha 04 de agosto del 2008, resultado de promociones hechas por la asesora en la zona. Dicho grupo fue organizado gracias a que la Sra. Delia González de González, quien se dedica a la venta de comidas, se comunicó posteriormente con la asesora, comunicando que logró conformar un grupo de 15 mujeres, quienes ahora se encuentran trabajando con el programa del Comité de Mujeres Emprendedoras.

El grupo eligió el nombre de “Las Unidas”, ya que todas ellas son amigas y vecinas.

Las integrantes del Comité “LAS UNIDAS” se dedican a diferentes actividades tales como se detallan a continuación:

2-Delia de González. Venta de comidas.

3-Norma González. Venta de comidas.

4-Clara García. Venta de ropas.

5-Estelvina González. Venta de remedios refrescantes.

6-Rocío González. Venta de remedios refrescantes.

7-Mirian Samudio. Venta de carne.

8-Graciela Aquino. Venta de cosméticos.

9-Delia G. González. Venta de comidas.

10-Mirian González. Venta de remedios refrescantes.

11-Flora Ayala. Venta de frutas y verduras.

12-Brígida Sánchez. Venta de remedios refrescantes.

13-Basilisa Franco. Despensa.

14-Soledad Cardozo. Costurera.

15-Marta Silva. Venta de tortas.

Todas ellas realizan actividades para recaudar fondos para el bien común del grupo. El grupo trabaja en forma conjunta, demuestran compañerismo y solidaridad.
