Bilquis M.munir's Group

Bilquis baji is the wife of M. Munir and lives in a city named Lahore, Pakistan. Lahore city is famous for its historical places. She has been living in this city for the last 20 years. She is the mother of two sons. Bilquis baji's husband is a driver by profession and drives a rented auto-rickshaw (a local three-wheeled motor vehicle). He has been driving this vehicle for the last 8 years. Bilquis baji is a housewife and sews clothes of her neighbors. She successfully repaid her four loans from Asasah (a microfinance institute of Pakistan). Now she is applying for a loan to buy an auto-rickshaw for her husband.

She is joined in her loan group by a few more members. Shamim baji wants a loan to buy material (cloth, Zips) to sew school bags to sell. Bushra baji wants a loan to buy clothes to resell. Farhat baji wants a loan to buy electric supplies (wires, tube lights and switch boards) for her electric shop. Fozia baji wants a loan to buy cosmetics for her parlor.

This is a group loan. The loan funds will be distributed among the group members, each of whom will invest in her own business. The members mutually guarantee one another's loans. If one member does not repay, the other members are responsible.
