Kosar Parveen Iftikhar Ahmad's Group

Kosar Parveen Baji is the wife of Iftikhar Ahmad Butt and lives in a city named Lahore, Pakistan. Lahore city is famous for its historical places. She has been living in this city for the last 20 years. She received her education until 8th standard. She is the mother of four children: three daughters and one son. Her son is in 14th standard. Her eldest daughter is in 10th standard. The daughter younger than her is in 8th standard. Her younger daughter is in 6th standard. Her husband has a scrap business. Kosar Baji is a seamstress by profession. She sews clothes for her neighbors. She has been in this profession for the last 20 years. She is applying for a loan to buy a sewing machine to expand her clothes sewing business.

She is joined in her loan group by a few more members. Naseem baji wants a loan to buy an auto-rickshaw (a local three-wheeled motor vehicle). Nasreen baji wants a loan to buy a welding machine. Bushra baji wants a loan to buy wood for her furniture making business. Nusrat baji wants a loan to buy old computer bodies to repair and to resell.

This is a group loan. The loan funds will be distributed among the group members, each of whom will invest in her own business. The members mutually guarantee one another's loans. If one member does not repay, the other members are responsible.
