Amabel Medina Vasquez

Mrs. Amabel Medina Vásquez is a 38-year-old-woman who lives in the Los Pinos neighborhood of the Mache district in the Otuzco province, department of La Libertatd Perú. She completed elementary school but was unable to continue her studies due to a lack of financial support from her parents. At that time, she had to continue her studies outside her district because they only had an elementary school there. She married Carlos Haro, with whom she has 5 children, at a young age. One of her daughters is married, while her other four children are still in school.
Her business consists of buying and selling grains such as wheat, barley, Andean lupin beans, and seasonal legumes from her own home.
She was able to purchase wheat, barley, and Andean lupin beans—commonly known as “tarwi”—with the first loan of 300 PEN that she obtained from Manuela Ramos. Her loan was repaid in 4 months.
With this loan of 300 PEN, she will purchase wheat and lupin beans. The loan will be repaid in 4 months.
She is a member of the Progresistas (Progressives) microfinance institute. She is an active member, stating that what she likes most about the Manuel Ramos institutes are the meetings because they are about relevant topics.
She dreams of owning her own home and making her children happy.

La señora Amabel Medina Vásquez tiene treintaiocho años de edad y vive en barrio Los Pinos distrito de Mache provincia de Otuzco departamento de La Libertad Perú.
Estudió educación primaria completa pero no pudo continuar estudiando debido a la falta de apoyo económico de sus padres, pues en ese tiempo había que ir a continuar estudios en otro lugar porque en su distrito solamente había primaria.
Se casó muy joven con Carlos Haro con el que tienen cinco hijos, una hija ya es casada y sus cuatro hijos son todavía estudiantes.
Su negocio consiste en la compra venta de trigo, cebada, chocho y menestras de la estación, lo realiza en su misma casa.
Con el primer préstamo que le dio Manuela Ramos que fue de 300 soles, compró trigo, cebada y chocho o tarwi como se conoce comúnmente. Su préstamo fue devuelto en cuatro meses.
Con este préstamo de S/ 300 soles con lo que comprará trigo y chocho o tarwi. Este préstamo será cancelado en cuatro meses.
Pertenece al Banco Comunal Progresistas, es una socia muy activa y manifiesta que lo que más le gusta de los Bancos de Manuela Ramos son las reuniones porque se tratan temas de género.
